Frequently Asked Questions

  • We sure do!

We are available to travel and work outside of the Hunter Valley region. Travel is subject to additional fees and our availability on your required date(s).

  • We have a minimum spend for full service weddings of $4000

A full service wedding is an investment of flowers that will elevate your day, bringing a feeling of decadence throughout, from ceremony to reception. Full service weddings include delivery of personals and installation of ceremony and reception florals and removal and clean up after your event.

Elopements & Intimate weddings, where the couple are looking for bouquets and other personals only does not currently have a minimum spend. Our bridal bouquets start at $300.

  • If you decide we are the right florist for your special occasion, a $250 deposit is all it takes to secure our services for your special day.

Please note this booking deposit is non-refundable, as it prevents us from taking other bookings on your selected date.

  • What do we suggest?

As a general rule of thumb, 10 - 15% of your wedding budget should be allocated to your florals or if you would like your flowers to be a show stopping and significant part of your day, anywhere from 20% upwards.

  • Personals are items that are carried by the bridal party or guests. They do not require us to be on site.

Examples include bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns, corsages.

Cake flowers may be considered personals, if they are to be delivered to, or collected by you.

Vases, table arrangements, etc. are not considered personal items.

  • ABSOLUTELY!

Some couples book years in advance and we understand that things will evolve as we move closer towards the day.

  • Our small deposit was born from COVID times, where couples were needing to reschedule their day.

It seemed unfair to us that, with everyone struggling, we were holding onto a significant amount of money for a day that was ultimately very much up in the air. It proved to be a good decision for everyone involved and so we’ve kept it that way.

Our deposit is non-refundable and secures your date.

  • It’s a good idea to book your florist 6 - 12 months in advance.

12 months ahead in peak wedding seasons, 6 months for winter weddings, although we can (and have) flowered up weddings with a few weeks notice.

  • Your quote is valid for four weeks.

To secure our availability for your date, the deposit should be paid as soon as possible, so we are not booked elsewhere.

Final payment is due 14 business days before your special day.

  • In the event that you need to postpone your event, we are more than happy to do this. We are a helpful bunch and will do our best to follow our couples into their new event date. If we are unable to do this, all monies paid, aside from the deposit, will be returned.

In the event of cancellation, all monies paid, aside from the non refundable deposit, will be returned if it falls outside of the final payment due date (14 business days).

Where postponement or cancellation is less than 14 days, the cost of materials purchased for your event will need to be recovered.

  • We have an open communication policy. You are able to consult with us through email at any time.

If you’d like a consultation before booking with us, we can organise this through Zoom.

6 -8 weeks before your wedding day we love to have a face to face or Zoom meeting, to meet you and go through all the finer details.

  • Absolutely!

We are here to help you every step of the way!

All we need is a few inspiration photos and / or to hear about your theme or style for your wedding and we can go from there.

We love to talk flowers and colours. Florists are creative people who LOVE to design uniquely for you!

  • We want you to love your flowers as much as we do.

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee particular flowers. Seasonal availability changes with the weather and other conditions the growers are working under.

We will do everything in our power to find your preferred flowers. If we are not able to source these, we will make suggestions for substitutes.

  • Just like any creative person, florists have their own style and their work cannot be directly copied.

However we can be ‘inspired’ by another’s work, and create a design that is exclusively yours.

  • Yes and as your day gets closer we expect there to be some evolution in your vision. Especially if you have booked well in advance.

We just ask that you discuss this with us before we order your flowers.

  • Sustainability is very important to us and is a growing concern within the flower and wedding industry.

We are working hard to have a more sustainable business. We offer a wide variety of re-usable vessels to hire. We are reducing our use of floral foam, as a consumable item. We like to repurpose flowers wherever we can. All these initiatives help reduce waste.

We try to source from local Australian growers as much as possible.
